Laurie has been the Nurse Director at Macon Occupational Medicine since it's corporation in May of 2001. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Georgia College & State University in June 1984. Laurie worked at the Medical Center of Central Georgia for 19 years. She worked in the Level I Trauma Center for four years and she was nurse manager at Med Center North and Med Center East for 15 years. She is certified by The Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) as a Certified Professional Collector (CPC). She is also a Certified Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT). Laurie is a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC).
