For the 18th year, Macon Occupational Medicine was officially approved as an Accredited Collection Facility by the Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA). This recognizes that MOM’s facility, operations and personnel meet the highest professional standards within the industry. A primary requirement of the Accredited Collection Facility Program is that all personnel of MOM have achieved Certified Professional Collector status.
According to DATIA’s Membership & Program Coordinator, Linda Wilson, “As an Accredited Collection Facility, Macon Occupational Medicine’s clients can be assured that they are committed to offering superior collection services while adhering to the highest professional standards. We congratulate them on this achievement.”
“I’m very excited to represent MOM and our community in this leadership role,” said Jonathan Pitts. “This committee will work to develop data and resources to enable members to promote the benefits of drug testing to end-users. Also, we will focus on the evolving use of marijuana and the opioid epidemic to include defining impairment levels as well as to help promote the use of alternative specimen testing technologies.Leave a reply →
